I've moved!

And you're not gonna know where to unless you ask. Then MAYBE I'll tell you.

My alone times have provided me many opportunities to think lately.

I suppose it's because the absence of my usual routine has got me thinking of many things.

Things that I have done in the past; whether they were worth it, whether they were right.

Choices I have made; oh no doubt I know they are the right choices, but I suppose there's always the "what-if" moments.

What the future would hold; starting my 3 years is indeed daunting, and no doubt it will fly by quickly, but many things can happen in 3 years. Of course, I do have plans. But we all know that somehow plans don't always seem to work out. Venturing into the unknown can be scary, and there are times where I don't feel very adventurous I suppose. =/

Right now, I just gotta enjoy my little break. Sort of. =)

And so, practicum is finally over.

Knowing that I'm definitely not going back made me know that I'll definitely miss this bunch of kids more.

They were so sweet! They held lyk a surprise party during recess for me yesterday.. haha.. My CT was the sweet 1 la.. she sorta organized it anyway...

When I got to school in the morning, 1 of my pupils was lyk, "Miss Tay! We got a surprise for you!"

"Well, if you tell me now, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?"

"Erm... but I haven't told you what it is!"

lol.

So during recess, they had this party with lotsa food (junk food)... probably only one of the rare times they get to eat junk food in school... haha. They went really crazy since their exams just finished the day before. I also got a whole load of cards and gifts... and some of them were really nice! *touched*

And the people who slugged out with me for ten weeks! The fishes... muahaha.. we're the fishes cos the room we're in is called the fish tank.. if you can see, we are in this room in the staff room that looks lyk a fish tank outside. Hur hur.

Yes, practicum had really shitty times, but nevertheless, my kids and my trainee colleagues all made it bearable. Thank you ppl! Will miss you all!

Wonder how the new school's gonna be like... most importantly, I gotta pray hard that they don't make me work during the week I go for my holiday! ARgh!!!

Lots of changes in my life.. I guess it's a matter of getting used to right now. More gym during the holidays!!

Why have things come to such a state?

Believe me, I really don't want to.

I wish things turned back to the way they were.

I've hit a crossroad in my life.

Should I venture off to the wild and unknown for an adventure, giving up people and a life that I am comfortable with?

Or should I just stick to the old road, dragging a big baggage with me?

I am APPALLED at how childish some Singaporeans are.

This hit the news headlines. I mean, duuuuuuudddeeee... seriously.

How old are you man?!?! I would actually say the cab driver's not entirely at fault.. further provocations from that guy was TOTALLY unneccessary.

Singaporeans. Sheesh.

Anyway... tomorrow would be the end of all my observations!!! AT LAST!! sigh... but shit loads of marking to do over the weekend. I feel lyk it's practically over actually. Haa. Gotta settle my accomodation for my holiday soon!

When I was growing up and struggling to understand the concept and meaning of love, I came across many definitions.

A friend once said: Love cannot be described, it is too powerful.

Another friend said: Love is blind, dumb, deaf and stupid

A third recently said: Love is feeling like you have known her for a lifetime, yet wanting to spend a lifetime with her.

One said: Love is about loving the imperfect person perfectly. (haa!! We all know who this is!!)

My sec school even had some lyk growing pains kinda education nonsense.. go figure. This was where I kinda came up with what I think love is:

To love someone is to make and see the person you love happy, and it must be for the good of him/her.

In other words, it doesn't mean you have to possess the person, it doesn't mean you have to do everything in your means to make him/her happy, because it may not be good for the person. Yes, that means scolding and not giving in sometimes.

If you're happy, so am I.

I'm happy for you.
